Used Power2max type S. Calibration worked
Crank length showed "n/a" I tried enter manually and showed "n/a"
All of my screens during training worked fine.
Ciao, here I tried to explain the altitude process!, please, have a look!
For sure if you have automatic and you don't get GPS you cannot adjust your calibration.
Regarding Power2Max the crank length is disabled since the calibration is not related to this measure. We use for pedal based PowerMeters.

a nice feature would be if date and time automatically update to current location (i.e., after changing time zone, for instance) when PC8 switched on first time and GPS is located.

Ciao Simone !!! Oggi ho provato per strada il nuovo aggiornamento , è andato tutto bene , tranne che non trovava mai il segnale GPS , e da impostare qualcosa ?? In più arrivato a casa o caricato uscita tramite Wi-Fi tutto perfetto , ma ho notato che su Strava mi da un orario di partenza diverso dall'orario in cui sono partito io , la stessa cosa mi ricordo me la faceva quando avevo il pc7 e caricavo manualmente il file da srmx a Strava . Grazie !!

Ciao, scusa se mi intrometto..
Volevo solo confermare quello che hai scritto, anch'io oggi prima uscita su strada col nuovo firmware e non c'é stato verso di trovare il GPS..non lo trova mai.
Su sträva invece dopo aver caricato l'attività , risulta un 30 40 minuti più lunga dello stesso file su SRMX..

Ciao Simone. Volevo solo segnalare che, dopo l'aggiornamento, il PC8 non completa più la ricarica della batteria. Dopo una notte intera in carica, l'indicatore segna 80% che tra l'altro passa al 70% appena lo accendo. Non so se sia legato al firmware, ma prima dell'aggiornamento la ricarica indicata era completa! Grazie

Questo è strano... non lo ho mai sentito. puoi provare ad effettuare una scarica quasi completa e poi ricaricarlo? Poi fammi sapere.

Adesso dovrebbe andare fuori casa ho provato e adesso prende il segnale , domani riprovo su strada , poi vi aggiorno

Hi,
A few days ago I posted that I've got a problem with GPS acquisition (no GPS at all indeed) with the new firmware so I try and try again (resetting gps following your instructions) and... nothing... no GPS.
Now the stranger thing, I roll back to PowerControl_8_Firmware_rev_2_1_8 and... direct GPS acquisition.
I'm a quite lost.

This sounds strange, but I am forwarding your case to the firmware developer.
One important this, since the firmware 2.1.8 had the GPS in a different place than the new one. Are you sure you settled up the correct GPS value into each bike profile?
