Air tempertur outside is -6.5 degrees

The first thing I laid noticed was that after the bike ride to work in 20 minutes, the battery jumped from 100% to 80%

Then I would upload the trip to Strava and send to e-mail address via WIFI.
Upload to Strava went fine, but file to the e-mail is never reached and it is not in my spam filter.
Should we turn WiFi off when not in use or can WIFI leave it on.

I wonder if it uses much power to search for WiFi networks when not in use?

Simoni, you have an answer to my questions?
WiFi is active ONLY when you request an upload.
Regarding the email please try again and make sure is enabled.
Can you let me know the PC8# and the file you wanted to upload? I will have a look server logs.

Strangely, when I use magnus@tillquist.dk as mail address, then PC8 sends nothing, neither image or file, but when I use my tsiuqllit@gmail.com mail so it sends both.

Good to know. If the PowerControl8 tells you that email is sent means that the server got this response. Than what happen later is on the receiving mail server.
Maybe some filter?

PC8 write to image and file is sent.

And I checked the filter on my web provider and can not find the mail in some any spam filter.

But I keep looking :-)

Ciao Simone,
just did my first ride with the new firmware.
Everything looks good, including the file download to TP etc.
However a couple of issues:
-during the ride the climb grade jumped a couple of times to high values (for example 23% rather than the correct grade which was 14%)
-there is a discrepancy between the values listed in the PC8 screen data summary at the end of the ride, and the data listed on the SRMX after the file download. For example the distance on the SRMX was 146km instead of 150km, the ascent was 3682mt instead of 3487, also the energy, cadence and speed are higher on the PC8.
Any idea why this is happening?

Today I did some test with the new PC8 FW.
First test was with my Cannondale Srm PM, that was working perfect.
Then I tested with my Stage PM I have on my mountainbike I was connected to the PM and Battery status was OK, but it was not possible to make a calibration on the PC8.
when I was riding I got watt output on the PC8, but some times it was dropped out.

The Stage PM calibration was working on the PC8 with FW 2.1.8.

I have try with different settings of the ANT continues ,but same result.

I remember this was also a problem with the first FW release to PC8.
I also remember talking with a guy from Srm in Germany that was talking about they have change
the way the PC8 was controlling the Ant signal.
So my question to you is, have you changed anything in FW 2.5.x on handling the Ant+ signal ?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I added a 2nd Wifi connections manually , but PC8 is not able to upload something to the network. (it is a repeater of the 1st network--> but other naming)
The 1st network was connected via WPS and is working fine.

So issue is to connect to the manual configured 2nd network.

Now I realized that the pc8 is always trying to connect to the 2nd network when upload an activity. And then I got a fault message because connection not working.
I had to un-check the 2nd network in the settings (via device agent) , and then 1st network was again connected during activity upload.

It seems that pc8 is always trying to use the "latest" connection and not switching to the 1st by failure.
