Ciao Simone,

HI robterli

I will see on next training, but as it has worked with PC8 firmware 2.1.8 I also expect it to work with a newer one.
Simone has already sent it to the dev. team.
A new firmware is available right now for download. Please test it and let us know.
Great! I try it tomorrow. Thanks Simone. :)
Calibration Power2 max ok! The value is very high... it's normal?

HI

Did the update and tested Ant+ with Srm PM and Stage PM, both are working and no dropout
in 3 hours training session with the Stage PM, only thing when using 3.rd parity PM is the crank
length that is not possible to set, still fails.

Upload from PC8 with WIFI to trainingsPeak is also tested and fails as other Beta user have described
and my WIFI upload is working because upload to strava is working.
Upload from DA when PC8 is connected to trainingsPeak works, data is add to trainingsPeak calendar

I do not have an trainingsPeak account I pay for, it only a free account, I don´t know if
this can be the resen for the upload fault.
I got the autorize confirmation in DA when mange the trainigPeaks setup.
Regarding TP you did the upload by the DeviceAgent or by wifi?
What 3rd part PM you refer? The cranks lengths is available only where is supported (pedals i.e.)

For me, using 2.5.2:

Upload to TrainingPeaks works from Device Agent 2.3. 219
Upload to TrainingPeaks does not work over WiFi directly from the PC8

The new FirmWare is nice and offers some positive improvements to the PC8.

It would be great if you could also include the following options in the display:
1) CP1min
2) CP5min
3) CP20min

These are metrics that a lot of coaches & athletes use so having these as well would appeal to a broader base.

Speaking of a broader base, TP has now started to push their "Workout Builder" methodology, more info here: https://home.trainingpeaks.com/blog/art ... ut-builder

My reason for mentioning this, is that these workouts can be uploaded to the likes of Garmin (etc) so again it would be fantastic to have this option available with a premium product like the PC8.

Finally, the next big thing for coaches and athletes are the "Pedaling Metrics" available in TP & other software packages. I realise SRM PM's do not have the ability generate this data (yet) but this is the way it's going so why not include the this technology in the PC8 now?

Perfect, good news.
Regarding WiFi please read the work in progress thread here, we are working there server side. Your PC8 firmware is ready to upload and you will get a notice as soon as the server is able to make the upload!

Ciao, thanks for the feedback.
Normally you can have all metrics in the analysis software, the PC8 stores only the main and the one he used for the FTP evaluation.
Having them in the analysis software allow you to see the global critical power curve... displaying in the PC8 screen is not the best :-)
Regarding the workout builder is something that we have to consider when we will think about the training mode. Right now We need to stabilise the new firmware.

No problems with firmware 2.5.3 during my training session today, intervall, screen-shots and everything else works great. After I finished the session uploaded it on my wifi-network to Strava and my e-mail.
